Run Zbrush once you have installed Zwrap in the plugins folder. Import the wrapped mesh (new source mesh) and convert it as a polymesh.
-
Now import your target mesh, click on append and select the reference mesh to add to your scene.
-
Go to the texture menu and import your texture file.
-
Go to the texture map shelf and create a new texture. Apply your map on the source mesh. Go up to the UV map shelf and click on flip V. Do the same flip for your target mesh.
-
Be sure your target mesh is in the first position in the Subtool menu.
-
Now, go to Zplugin and open Ztexturetransfer.
-
Set the resolution to 16K, Click on preference and activate "Limit distance", as well as the margin of the baking process.
-
Then check the projection as a preview. if you're not happy with it, try to translate your target mesh, or tweak the offset in the preferences.
-
Once you have an accurate projection, click on "Extrapolate" to bake an accurate map.
-
Once you are done, you can finally export your texture into an EXR saved file.
